About the Organization
The purpose of Cornerstone Family Healthcare, a non-profit organization, is to provide high quality, comprehensive, primary and preventative health care services in an environment of caring, respect, and dignity, and in a cost effective manner that maximizes revenues; to be responsive to the needs of the communities that we serve but with continued emphasis on the under-served and those without access to care regardless of race, economic status, age, sex, sexual orientation, or disability.
Our staff of nearly 400 employees includes over 40 Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians, and Dentists, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, a large nursing staff, social work and counseling staff.
Located just 70 minutes north of New York City by car or by rail, our medical practice is the health home to more than 25,000 patients annually. Our not-for-profit organization is consistently ranked as one of New York States most successful community health centers. Throughout our eight sites we are focused on providing the highest quality of patient-centered care through a care-team-based approach with strong emphasis on positive patient outcomes. We are Joint Commission accredited and a designated Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home by 2014 standards.
