About the Organization
Southwestern Michigan Emergency Services, P.C. is a growing democratic group and has been in existence since 1969. We are Southwest Michigans only Level 1 Trauma Center. We are a group of over 50 Emergency Medicine physicians and 15 highly respected physician assistants and nurse practitioners. We staff Emergency Medicine for Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Bronson LakeView Hospital located in Paw Paw and Bronson Battle Creek Hospital located in Battle Creek.
About the Community
Kalamazoo is located in Southwest Michigan. It is home to both Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College as well as Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine was established in 2011. Kalamazoo is a vibrant, cultural community with excellent school districts and professional opportunities for partners/spouses. Settled among inland lakes and only two hours from Detroit and Chicago. We are home to The Kalamazoo Promise, paid for college program.
The City of Kalamazoo offers many of the cultural attractions including art, theatre, dance, music, recreation and restaurants.
