CarolinaEast Physicians, the physician group for CarolinaEast Health System, is made up of CarolinaEast Heart Center, CarolinaEast Urology, CarolinaEast Internal Medicine, CarolinaEast Gastroenterology, CarolinaEast Pediatrics, CarolinaEast Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, CarolinaEast ENT, CarolinaEast Radiation Oncology, CarolinaEast Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, CarolinaEast Hematology and Oncology Associates, CarolinaEast Orthopedics and CarolinaEast Surgical Specialists. This dynamic, hospital owned multispecialty group consist of 150+ physicians and extenders with 19 locations in four coastal NC counties.

About the Community
New Bern is in the coastal region of North Carolina at the confluence of the Neuse and Trent Rivers, approximately 35 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Lookout, Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle are less than an hour away. New Bern has golf course communities, waterfront communities and a vibrant historical downtown. With mild winters, activities such as boating, sailing, skiing, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, golf etc. can be enjoyed year round.
We have excellent choices for schools here in New Bern, both public and private. The Epiphany School of Global Studies is a premier private, non-denominational faith based school that was founded by Nicholas Sparks, the writer.
