The Orthopaedic Center of Central Virginia, Inc. is one of the premier orthopaedic groups in Virginia. Our respected team of physicians focuses on particular areas of expertise to provide the best level of musculoskeletal care possible.
Our Practice
A multi-disciplinary approach offers the community a wealth of experience and expertise within one practice. OCCV now provides the only comprehensive MSK care center in Central Virginia, which includes an immediate drawing area of approximately 250,000 people. In addition to general orthopaedics and sports medicine, we have specialists in rheumatology, physiatry, and physical and occupational therapy.
Facility Information
Our providers practice in a new 87,000 square foot facility which accommodates electronic medical records and a PACS viewing system which assists them in offering the best in patient care. With the new facility, we have broadened our services to include the following:

On-Site Abilities
We have trained MSK providers to oversee the acute care work-in clinic, which allows us to treat non-operative cases sooner and expedite referrals to the appropriate physicians. For outpatient procedures, we use a free-standing ambulatory surgery center, namely The Surgery Center of Lynchburg, which is conveniently located beside our office.
