Founded in 1897, Saint Anthony Hospital is a faith based, nonprofit community teaching hospital dedicated to serving the health needs of Chicagos near southwest side. For over 100 years, our physicians and staff have provided medical care, social services, and community outreach to Chicago's near southwest side communities. Saint Anthony Hospital offers quality and affordable medical services in a caring and supportive environment. Our operating rooms, emergency department and imaging center offer modern technology, that helps us in providing our patients the quality services they need in our communities. Hospital Services: Licensed Beds: 151, Average Annual Admissions: 8,000, Average Annual Emergency Room Visits: 32,000, Average Annual Births/Deliveries: 24000, Persons Employed: 800+, Providers on Staff: 350+ active primary care & specialty providers. Our Community: More than 70% of our patients come from six densely populated zip codes on Chicago's west and southwest side. Our service area include North & South Lawndale, Little Village, Pilsen, Back of the Yards, Bridgeport & Austin Neighborhoods. Made up of young families and multi-generational, along with families from the near west suburbs of Cicero and Berwyn.
