King's Daughters Medical Center (KDMC), located in Ashland, Kentucky is a locally controlled, not-for-profit 465-bed hospital that offers cardiac, medical, surgical, pediatric, rehabilitative, psychiatric, cancer, neurological, pain care, wound care and home care" services. KDMC is the city's largest employer at over 4,000 employee.
King's Daughters services a patient population of 750,000, caring for patients throughout eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio.
In 2012, KDMC introduced a second hospital, King's Daughters Medical Center - Ohio in Portsmouth, Ohio. We have 22 outreach/medical specialty clinics throughout KY and OH. The hospital features a variety of surgical and medical services, along with primary care.
