Mariposa is in a federally designated medically underserved area and is a National Health Service Corps loan repayment site. Mariposa offers a competitive base salary augmented by a robust incentive program and extraordinary benefits including paying 100% of the cost of health insurance for staff and 1/2 the cost of dependent coverage, up to $150 per month towards the purchase of a $250,000 term life insurance policy, long-term disability coverage, 401 K match, and more. About the Community
We are a well-established health and wellness organization serving Santa Cruz County in majestic SE Arizona. Headquartered in Nogales, just 65 miles south of Tucson, Mariposa CHC is guided by the belief that health care is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and should be made available to everyone. We have the honor of taking care of nearly half of the residents in our county, from richest to poorest, with the mission of making a positive difference in their lives and those of their families. Mariposa provides services including internal & family medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, general dentistry, general surgery, behavioral health, wellness education, EMR with on-site trainers, lab services, digital x-ray, mammography & DEXA, ultrasound, telemedicine, and full-service pharmacy. Mariposa has 7 clinical sites that provide services to the community. We also offer free transportation to patients, free pharmacy deliveries, a robust population health team including care coordination services and quality improvement efforts, a WIC office for community members, community health workers that engage the community, sliding fee scale for eligible patients, and more.
