The Centers is a private, non-profit organization licensed by the State of Florida located in Ocala, FL servicing both Marion and Citrus County and accredited by CARF International. Our mission is to strengthen lives with compassionate healing. In 2014, we provided 4,100 children and 8,900 adults with inpatient, residential, and outpatient mental health and substance abuse care.
Services include child and adult crisis stabilization, adult residential substance abuse treatment, adolescent residential substance abuse treatment, a drop-in center and model clubhouse for the mentally ill, targeted case management, medication management, prevention education, and extensive outpatient and in-home/school counseling.
Contracted as a Case Management Agency through Kids Central, Inc., The Centers also provides protective supervision services to children and their families regarding issues of abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation by the childs parent or guardian. In addition, we are the lead provider of emergency intervention therapy to individuals and families whose children are at risk of removal. Our mission-centered team of professionals impact thousands of lives in Citrus and Marion Counties.
