Premise Health currently has an opening for a Physician to provide Occupational Health and Urgent Care at our onsite clinic with major airline health center located in Charlotte, NC.

Summary of the Position: A new physician will join a well-established wellness clinic, supportive team of an experienced staff: MA, APP, and another physician. Preferred experience/expertise in Occupational Med and/or worker injury.

Provides direct medical care to company employees and dependents in the airport onsite clinic. M-F, no weekends, FT, flex schedule, 75% Occ Med/work injury and 25% Urgent Care

Essential Functions:

Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients and dependents 2 and up.

Provide occupational health services (i.e., post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams and Workers Compensation medical guidance)

Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards

Provides referrals both internally and externally to appropriate medical resource or specialty

Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress of patients

Identifies emergency situations and provides care within legal scope of practice and as defined by Premise Health privileging process Participates in the development of annual clinic goals and objectives

Required Qualifications: BC/BE in Occupational Medicine or expertise, BC/BE in FM with worker's comp experience.
