Experienced Heart Failure APP Opportunity in Richmond, VA

Job Description

Chippenham Hospital is recruiting an experienced heart failure APP to become part of the cardiology team providing services at Levinson Heart Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Qualified Candidates:

Advance Practice Provider license required
Advance Practice Provider certification
3-5 years of experience in Cardiology
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration and physicians.

Job Specifications:

Provide inpatient heart failure consults, rounding, ordering of diagnostic tests and follow-up of abnormalities at both Chippenham and Henrico Doctors Hospital.
Assessment, documentation and treatment of new and returning HF clinic patients including CardioMems and LVAD patients.
Ordering of diagnostics, prescriptions and follow-up for clinic patients.
CareLink monitoring of fluid status and rhythm for patients and Medtronic devices.
