Job Description

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) of Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Fellowship Trained, Board Eligible/Certified cardiologist with expertise in advanced therapies in heart failure to lead our heart failure program as the Regional Director of Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation. Successful candidates will have clinical experience in managing patients with advanced heart failure, including the management of inotropes, temporary and durable Mechanical Cardiac Support, and pre- and post- heart transplantation management.

This position will be based out of our Tysons Corner Medical Center in McLean, VA with minimal travel to satellite offices. The Regional Director will also be responsible for building a comprehensive program for congestive heart failure across the spectrum of care, integrating innovative solutions for chronic disease management and care of critically ill patients across the mid-Atlantic region.

Requirements: Candidate must be Board Eligible/Certified, have experience in the management of patients with advanced heart failure, and have or can obtain active Virginia, DC and Maryland Medical Licenses. Prior leadership experience is preferred.
