Radiation Oncologist - Wausau, Wisconsin

Job Description

This full-time position will provide core services at our state-of-the-art Aspirus Regional Cancer Center, along with outreach coverage 1-2 days a week. This position will have an emphasis on brachytherapy procedures, and the applicant will be expected to assume responsibility for conducting day to day operations of the brachytherapy program and building the program. Our rapidly growing program leans well to a highly motivated individual with a team-work mentality.

Experience in Brachytherapy preferred as we look to grow our brachytherapy program
Technology includes Varian Truebeam, Varian Edge, Tomotherapy, Nucleotron HDR, Siemens Large Bore CT sim, SRS, SBRT, 4D technologies, ARIA, Eclipse treatment planning system, EPIC EHR
4 onsite medial physics staff; 5 dosimetrists
Extremely strong multidisciplinary group with strong referral base in multiple oncology disciplines including medical oncology
Outreach locations TBD upon mutual agreement with all physicians in group. All sites within a 60-mile radius of Wausau.
NP/PA coverage
Autonomous practice with the ability to have a voice in guiding program direction
CoC Accredited & NAPBC Accredited
