Aspirus Health is seeking a collaborative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Palliative Care team in Wausau, Wisconsin

Full-time; Monday-Friday work week
No Call
Provider will see an average of 5 patients a day in the greater Wausau area
Provider must be very flexible. Their practice setting will depend on the current and changing needs of the program, as well as their strengths and skills. They will have a primary location of inpatient or outpatient with occasional coverage in the other. Outpatient includes skilled nursing facilities, assisted living and private homes.
Provider will treat patients, and educate patient families, regarding their complex, serious illnesses, symptom management, and improving quality of life
Previous experience in palliative care, hospital medicine, oncology, or hospice will be beneficial for this position
Current team is very cohesive and collaborates well. Someone who values team but also works well independently will be successful in this role
