Job Description

Adventist Health Delano is actively seeking a mission-minded Family Medicine Physician to work in a Medical Directorship role. The MD, along with his/her Operations counterpart, has distinct accountability for the quality of the clinical professionals and their work, production, compliance and patient care standards.

Located 30 miles north of Bakersfield, Delano is a small underserved community with strong community values. The Bakersfield/Delano area is 2 hours from Los Angeles, the central coast, and Sequoia National Park. Bakersfield boasts great schools (including a university), museums, cultural diversity and cuisine, and a plethora of outdoor activities.

We are looking for a full time physician that would also serve as medical director to our Delano Outpatient Primary Care clinic.This represents an outstanding opportunity to work in a supportive and compassionate environment, as a member of an organization dedicated to provide you with the necessary resources to succeed.

Were looking for physicians to join our team who: maintain responsibility for providing expert clinical care, provide comprehensive health assessments, perform medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, provide timely charting in EMR, and formulate treatment plans and or/interventions. Target patient volume is 20 patients in an 8 hour day.

Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospitals medical staff credentialing standards.
