Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Residential Facility in El Paso, TX

Job Description

A long term residential facility is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP.

The facility is located in El Paso, TX.

The NP will be treating adults and geriatric individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and other medical and/or behavioral problems.

The facility's goal is to have residents stabilize and be able to move to the community.

Patients served per day varies no more than 7 if even that many.

EMR used is Iris which is on a Cerner platform. There are meetings that the NP will need to attend ISPs, ISPAs, etc. to provide input to Individual Service Plans.


Requirements:

-Must have TX License

-Must be a Psychiatric Mental Health NP

-Must be willing to commit to this assignment for a minimum of 6 months


Dates Needed: ASAP - for minimum of 6 months

Case Load/PPD: 5-7
