Family or Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Correctional Facility in Monroe, WA

Job Description

A correctional facility is seeking a family or internal medicine nurse practitioner with urgent care background for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Monroe, WA.

The locum will work 4 10-hour shifts Sunday-Thursday from 8 pm-6 am and will take calls from other parts of the campus. Patients are all adult inmates and cases vary from injury, acute illness, follow ups, physicals, corrections, minor procedures (sutures, I&D, toe nail removal, skin biopsy), etc. The locum must be able to do suboxone (not very often) and must be able to have a weekly COVID-19 test at the facility.

Candidates must have WA license with BLS. Credentialing takes 1-7 days.
