Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage in West Central Florida

Job Description

An inpatient facility is seeking a thoracic surgery physician assistant for locum tenens coverage.

This facility is located in west central Florida.

The schedule is 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, with night call 1 day per week and every 4th weekend. The locum must have a FL license and be experienced with all of the following: Open Heart, Endovascular Vein Harvesting, Pulling chest tubes, pacing wires and IABP. Other duties include: Consults, discharges, rounding ICU and stepdown units. This facility uses EMR for documentation and EVH systems are Maquette and Sorin. Board Certification or Eligibility is required.
