Job Description

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a passionate Psychiatrist who is looking to lead a practice and have a transformational impact on a community!

-Join Baptist Health Behavioral Health in Richmond, Kentucky as the Medical Director and clinician of a brand new 11-bed inpatient unit.
-This opportunity is one-of-a kind with a multidisciplinary clinical support staff.
-Medical Director will have PRN physician support.
-Established patient referrals from Emergency Department.
-Patient population is adult patients (18 years old and above) struggling with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorders.
-This is a unique opportunity to have input on creating a new department.

More than 400 of these patients needed inpatient services and had to leave their community and local support systems to receive these services.
