Seeking Dynamic Candidates for Hematology Oncology

East Brunswick, NJ

Astera Cancer Care is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship Trained Hematologist Oncologist to join our Multi-Specialty Oncology Practice in New Brunswick, NJ.

Astera Cancer Care is an independent and physician-owned multi-specialty community oncology practice serving 12,000 new patients annually in Central New Jersey. Astera is comprised of 26 medical oncologists, 11 radiation oncologists, two breast surgeons, ten advance practice providers and three PharmDs who collectively have been caring for patients in Central New Jersey since 1981. The physicians have an average of more than 20 years of medical experience. The practice offers standard and advanced therapeutics including chemotherapy, biologic therapy, immunotherapy and radiopharmaceuticals along with a total complement of radiation oncology treatment options, including proton therapy, brachytherapy, and radiosurgery. The group provides coordinated services across the continuum of care from the diagnosis of cancer, through active treatment, cure and survivorship. Its specialists practice at 13 distinct locations in Middlesex, Somerset,Hunterdon, Mercer and Monmouth counties in New Jersey and Bucks County in Pennsylvania.

About the Role:
Position responsibilities include the clinical care of outpatient and inpatient consultations as well as treatment of cancer using chemotherapy or other medications, such as targeted therapy or immunotherapy. The ideal candidate will be board certified/board eligible and have excellent clinical training. Fellows are encouraged to apply.
