SEEKING NEURO-INTENSIVIST PHYSICIAN TO LEAD A NEW PROGRAM AT MCLEOD HEALTH NEAR COAST OF SOUTH CAROLINA

McLeod Health, a private, non-profit healthcare system, located in Florence, SC, is seeking to hire a BC/BE Neurology Intensivist physician to help start and lead a new Neuro-Interventional Program. McLeod Health is currently constructing a new Bi-Plane room specially designed to use coiling procedures to treat aneurysms, and thrombectomy, for emergent stroke care at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Neuro-interventional procedures will be performed and we will have the most advanced interventional imaging technology, with 3-D imaging. McLeod is also expanding to a dedicated 20-bed neurosciences care unit with specialty trained nurses to provide expert quality care to patients. Specialty care for stroke and neurological treatment has been ongoing for decades at McLeod Health. We are seeking a physician that can lead and help us start this Neuro-Interventional program.

This position is at McLeod Regional Medical Center, our flagship hospital, which is a stable 500+ bed, tertiary care facility, with a service area of 1.5 million people.

Full employment with McLeod Health with a base salary, plus incentive bonus based on RVU production, CME allowance, sign on bonus, relocation allowance, paid malpractice, and health and retirement benefits are offered with this hospital employed position.
