Sr Mgr Bus Ops Primary Care

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG)/ Kaiser Permanente is looking for a Sr. Business Operations Manager, Primary Care. The person in this role will work under the direction of the Director of Primary Care Operations, partner with physician leaders and collaborate with health plan partners. He or she will provide day to day operational leadership and business support for the primary care organization, as well as, assist in the management of daily patient service capture, monitoring of primary care utilization, and ensuring quality and service targets are attained in partnership with department Chiefs. This role provides direct supervision of at least one practice management coordinator.
The ideal candidate must have a Master of Business Administration in marketing, strategy, health care administration or other related areas. The understanding of CPT and ICD9 coding and a proven track record of achieving objectives through motivating and leading teams from a position of influence are keys to success in this role.
Additional Minimum Work Experience and/or Qualifications:
Ability to establish positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and management team members
Excellent demonstrated use of quantitative reports and analysis
Analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications or similar applications in order to analyze large volumes of information
Proficient with the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as strategic and systems thinking capability
Demonstrated proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
Preferred Work Experience and/or Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of the insurance industry and HMO regulations, including State and Federal laws.
Work experience in large multi-primary & specialty medical group business practices.
