Job Description

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our experienced and energetic team of regional providers as an inpatient pediatric specialist at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. Hospitalists working at Genesis are employees of Nationwide Childrens Hospital.

Genesis Hospital with a staff of 3,700 employees, physicians and volunteers, has earned a third consecutive 4-Star rating for Overall Hospital Quality from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Twenty-seven percent of the nations hospitals are rated 4-Stars; only 6% have a 5-Star rating. The pediatric unit of Genesis includes an 6-bed inpatient and observation pediatric unit, 8-bed Special Care Nursery and a 25-bed Mother-child well baby unit.

Responsibilities of the Pediatric Hospitalist include providing general pediatric consultations as well as inpatient pediatric care, Emergency Department consultations for admission or transfer and attending high-risk deliveries and c-sections. Shifts are 24 hours in-house.

Qualified candidates must be board certified/ board eligible in Pediatrics, patient-centered and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in pediatric care.
