Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Nationwide Childrens Hospital and the Department of Psychiatry at The Ohio State University College of Medicine are currently seeking talented BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and team of Behavioral Health Services professionals.
There are opportunities in both outpatient and inpatient services, with particular interest in recruiting for the following positions:
o Emergency/crisis psychiatry
o Inpatient psychiatry
o Autism Spectrum Disorders
o Gender Identity/development
Our state-of-the-art Behavioral Health Pavilion will open in early 2020. The pavilion will have a dedicated psychiatric crisis center with an extended observation suite, an expanded Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit, a partial hospital program, outpatient and intensive outpatient services and three inpatient psychiatric units. The inpatient units will be specialized, with one dedicated to youth with autism spectrum and intellectual and developmental disabilities, one for children and one for adolescents.
Behavioral Health at NCH is one of the largest outpatient service lines at the hospital and is the largest pediatric behavioral health network of any childrens hospital in the country, with over 220,000 outpatient visits for over 30,000 unique patients in 2018. Currently, the NCH Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health has 28 child and adolescent psychiatrists, nearly 80 psychologists and 16 advanced practice nurses. Because no single discipline or professional can adequately address the needs of every child, Nationwide Childrens approach is deliberately multidisciplinary and collaborative. The ideal candidate should have excellent clinical, educational and administrative skills. An interest in clinical research is encouraged but not required. At a minimum, candidates should be eligible for a Clinical Assistant Professor appointment. The position
