Job Description

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced physician to join the Executive Team as Director, High Reliability/Patient Safety, serving as a network leader charged with guiding all HMH leaders, physicians and team members in the transformation to a high reliability organization. This includes the delivery of impactful HRO training to all HMH team members and physicians to create an environment in which potential problems are anticipated, detected early, and virtually always responded to early enough to prevent catastrophic consequences.

The successful candidate is an energetic problem solver with proven leadership and clinical skills along with an interpersonal style with strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills and a commitment to outstanding patient care. Ideally, someone with proven track record of excellent application of improvement and patient safety science; experience working with performance improvement tools and methodologies, ability to lead, manage and sustain change, familiarity with current trends and ability to implement them needs to have a desire to build a world-class High Reliable Organization in New Jersey.
