Job Description

Norton Medical Groups35 adult outpatient primary care locations are staffed by more than 200 medical providers specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, internal medicine/pediatrics and urgent care. Norton Medical Group, a multidisciplinary integrated team of more than 1,000 providers, is the physician practice division of Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky.

About the outpatient practice positions

Compensation plan based on work relative value unit (wRVU) productivity plus bonuses for quality and service

Flexibility to work full time or part time

Outpatient only and traditional medicine opportunities available

Hospitalist coverage for patients is available through employed groups at four adult-service hospitals

Continuing medical education (CME) opportunities within Norton Healthcare and funds available for additional CME

Opportunities to participate in the physician advisory board, leadership academy, committees and community involvement

Electronic medical records system (Epic) integrated in 100 percent of Norton Healthcare practices and hospitals

Certified by National Committee for Quality Assurance as a patient centered medical home

Requirements for the positions

Medical degree/diploma

Residency/fellowship certification

Kentucky medical license or license eligible
