Job Description

Basic Description:
Administers anesthesia and anesthesia related core under the direction of a physician. Monitors and supports life functions. Acts as the patient's advocate while the patient is under anesthesia.

Specialized Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Degree / Education:
-Formalized training - Nursing
-Bachelor degree - Nursing OR Associate degree - Nursing

Level of Experience:
-None

Lic./Cert./Reg.:
-All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
-APRN AND Registered Nurse
-Basic Life Support - Must be certified within 30 days of hire.
-Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Must be certified within 1 year of hire.
-Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Must be certified within 1 year of hire.
