Developmental Pediatrician in South Carolina

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and of the PH-USC Medical group is seeking to add the faculty position listed below in our Division of Child Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. The Division is a comprehensive center offering teaching, patient care and research opportunities staffed presently by two developmental pediatricians, three PhD-level child psychologists, and a child psychiatrist. This position is full time, non-tenure track for an Assistant or Associate-level faculty physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in the subspecialty.
The Divisions patient care services include assessment of children with suspected Developmental Disorders, treatment and follow up of appropriate children with Developmental Disorders, and the teaching of residents and medical students. Rated the top teaching department in the School of Medicine for the last 23 years, the Department of Pediatrics has a record of academic achievement and high faculty morale. Our pediatric residency program has 12 resident positions at each level with exceptional board pass rates. A freestanding, state-of-the-art Childrens Hospital opened in 2008, serving 150,000 children annually with 7,500 inpatient admissions and 35,000 pediatric emergency visits. All subspecialists within the department admit to our hospitalist service and subspecialists act as consultants.
