Family Medicine Residency Faculty opportunity on the main campus of McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina!

McLeod Health, a 7 hospital, nonprofit private healthcare system located in South Carolina seeks BC Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physicians. McLeod Health is dedicated to improving the overall health of patients in our 15 county referral area; serving over 1.5 million patients.
Our nationally recognized unopposed residency program offers community-based training in a 517-bed regional referral medical center and a 40- bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Flexible program structure provides opportunity to enhance a diverse array of special interests, including evidence-based-medicine, quality improvement, underserved populations, hospital medicine and critical care, procedures, geriatrics, OB, womens health, pediatrics, international missions, physician leadership, and more. Faculty roles include: Teaching and supervising residents in outpatient and inpatient settings, direct patient care in Family Medicine Center, didactic teaching, curriculum development, resident mentorship, scholarly activity, and protected administrative time. Maternity optional.
Seeking two faculty members for a growing program
Hours are Monday Friday 8:30a-5:00p & call rotates amongst faculty members and community adjunct faculty call partners.

Residency Program Highlights
Underserved, medically complex patient population with strong rural emphasis
High volume inpatient and outpatient procedures including 24/7 resident-run central line placement consult service, paracentesis, thoracentesis, endoscopy, joint injections, IUD placement, and more
Open Intensive Care Unit
Clinic access to in-office X-Ray and laboratory services
Procedural Skills and Simulation Laboratory includes Simbionix Ultrasound Simulator, GI Mentor Endoscopy Simulator, and much more.
