Description of Existing Urologist/Practice: 35 year practice. Owner of practice has shared space with his wife who is a General Practitioner. Both will plan on retiring within the next 5 years. Office/ Clinic Space: 5 exam rooms, ; 3- urology, 2 – GP, 1 procedure room (can perform in-office procedures and has surgery center designation) Consult office, shared conference room and billing office on second floor. Capacity to add new Urologist and assist in call and hospital coverage. Practice can expand to accommodate new partners and use of whole space upon retirement of Urologist and wife. Clinic Hours: Current Urologist: Monday, Tuesday, Friday- 8;00am- 4:30pm Surgery Days: Weds. & Thursdays. (Block time) Alternate days & surgery days for new Urologist i.e Weds. Thursday, and shared day on Monday and Friday, Surgery days on Tuesdays and possible alternate day. Office /Clinic Procedures: Cystocopies, bladder biopsies, prostate biopsies, circumcision, vasectomies, laser. Office Volumes/ Pattern: Current time for New Patient Evals: 30 mins., Follow- Up : 15 mins. Average busy day in clinic: 30 -40 patients. Surgery: Block time every Weds & Thursday: Start time 7:30am- performs 7 cases / block day. Procedures performed: Urethoscopy, Uretha slings, kidney stones; laser prostate Every other Thursday: Lithotripsy/ Kidney Stones; up to 5 cases. Call Schedule: Expectation is to cover hospital one week/ on,; one week /off, beginning on Friday morning . Practice Call: 1:2 includes weekends, but when off for hospital, partner will cover practice call for weekend. Average number of calls per week: 10 from hospital, rarely has to come to hospital for call, handled by phone call majority of time. Must Haves Must be board certified in Urology. Will consider new grads, residents, and seasoned Urologists.
