Full time BC/BE General Surgeon opportunity located just north of Seattle, Washington. If you love the Pacific Northwest, this is a great opportunity to join an established, hospital-employed practice located on Whidbey Island. Whidbey General Hospital is a Critical Access Designated hospital (trauma level 3 ED) offering a wide range of services to our community. The clinic has an excellent support staff and is conveniently located within 5 minutes of the hospital. Call is 1:3. This rural community offers access to mountain biking, kayaking, scuba diving, boating, hiking, fishing or just breathing in the fresh air. A wide variety of interests are met in exploring the locally owned and operated restaurants, inns, shops, art galleries, heritage farms, working studios, wineries, farmers markets, state parks and arts centers. Located in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountain range, we receive half the rain fall that Seattle does yet we are within a two hour drive of the city giving us access to city amenities and then returning to the calmness of island living.
