SLEEP MEDICINE CLINICIAN EDUCATOR FACULTY LINE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES DIVISION OF SLEEP SCIENCES AND MEDICINE STANFORD UNIVERSITY The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, division of Sleep Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Clinician Educator Line, at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor, to conduct clinical care and teaching in sleep medicine. The position will be based in the Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Based on needs and qualification this position may be shared with other departments within the Stanford School of Medicine. The chosen candidate will serve as an attending MD on the inpatient unit and provide clinical care in the outpatient Sleep Clinic and sleep medicine consultative services to other departments. Major teaching responsibilities will be fulfilled as part of the regular clinical activities, and include supervision and didactics to sleep medicine fellows, medical students, residents, and fellows and other trainees. Applicants must have a medical degree or equivalent degree, completed training in Sleep Medicine and be Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. Specialty training in pulmonary medicine and possession of a current California medical license preferred but not mandatory.
