1 DAY PER MONTH EXAMS OLYMPUS HEALTH MANAGEMENT, LLC WHAT: Olympus Health coordinates and performs disability determination physicals for various local and governmental agencies such as Medicare and the Social Security Administration of New Mexico and multiple states around the country. WHEN: We provide this service to applicants in your area 1-2 days each month. Typically there are between 15 and 20 patients in need of exams each month. HELPFUL INFORMATION & DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: - You will provide disability exams and evaluation that test primarily function and range of motion. The evaluation you will perform will be solely in connection with the determination of the patient's entitlement to Social Security disability or Medicaid benefits. You will not be establishing a Doctor-patient relationship nor be providing any diagnosis, advice or treatment to the candidates. You will be provided a clear template of specific tests to perform and document your assessment of such tests. (i.e. Range of motion, Heel toe walk, etc.) Your documented assessments are then forwarded to the Disability Determination Services Division of New Mexico where they will ultimately determine the candidate's entitlement to benefits. - Exams are scheduled every 30 minutes and each exam takes roughly 15 minutes to perform. We will pay $60 per exam which on average equates to roughly $1000 per clinic day.
