For information about the city of San Antonio Texas please visit http://www.sanantonio.gov/ The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) is looking for a highly motivated physician to serve as Chief of Imaging Service at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio Texas. Applicants with any Radiology subspecialty, Radiation Oncology or Nuclear Medicine may apply. Imaging service provides comprehensive diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic radiology services. The full spectrum of services are provided at the San Antonio Hospital site, with partial services at the outpatient sites as follows: Kerrville, Frank Tejeda Outpatient Clinic, and North Central Federal Clinic. Therapeutic Radiology Services are provided at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base. The Imaging Service Chief is a physician responsible for leadership of the Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology Sections for STVHCS. The position includes administrative and clinical duties, and the individual is expected to maintain active clinical practice in Radiology, Radiation Oncology and/or Nuclear Medicine.
