Providence St. Patrick Rehabilitation Center needs coverage for Inpatient Physiatrist for vacation and CME coverage. Only one MD on staff. Unit Certification requires DR with Inpatient Rehab experience to cover. Need for 1-2 weeks at a time approximately 1 time per quarter. Must be BC or BE with DEA ACLS. Will have call. In unit Mon-Fri with alternating weekend and evening call coverage. 24/7 inpatient unit. Will be working with mid-level provider. 1 NP full time and 1PA that helps cover weekends. 5-15 patients on the unit at any given time. Use Epic so must have this or some other EMR experience noted on CV. The Rehab center is located at the Providence Center approximately 4 blocks from the main hospital campus. Consulting at St. Patricks main hospital for potential rehab admits; signing off on prescreens for Medicare admits; doing admissions, discharges, daily follow up on patient admitted to the unit; Daily unit huddles for current patients and potential admits; Bi-weekly team conference with all treating staff. Will consider someone with neurology rehab background. Physician will be working with PT, OT, Speech, and Nursing for Rehab intricate care. Will not be dealing with pain mgmt. that will fall to pharmacist. Will work with adult population only. No procedures. Will not be doing adult general neurology, TPA, EEG, LP, EMG/NCS.
