PHYSICIAN SCIENTIST OPENINGS AT PENN STATE HERSHEY The Penn State Hershey Medical Center is seeking an accomplished clinical Biomechanist to expand our rehabilitation research mission. Although a board certified Physiatrist is preferred for these opportunities, exceptional non-physician researchers will be considered. Research space and a substantial start-up package will be provided in our newly build, 4,500 square foot Rehabilitation Research laboratories comprise of Exercise, Body Composition, Locomotor Training and Gait Labs. The clinical researcher will have access to the 98-bed Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital and The Penn State Hershey Medical Center (a 500-bed tertiary care teaching hospital and level 1 trauma center with 700 physicians), the NIH-funded Center for Translational Science Institute, and the Penn State Neurosciences Institute. Candidates must have an MD/DO with BC/BE in PM&R or PhD; proven record of research success is required.
