Job Description
The Team Pediatrician serves on educationally-based transdisciplinary assessment teams and provides medical assessment services, diagnostic information and recommendations to school district staff and parents. Students, ages 3-21 years, present with a broad range of disabilities. Transdisciplinary teams include education specialists, language-speech pathologists, clinical psychologists, neuropsychologist, psychiatrist, audiologist and bilingual interpreter.
Responsibilities include: review medical records; interview parents; conduct physicals and neurodevelopmental screenings; interpret medical information; write reports with recommendations, and present findings at conferences. Training and staff development on medical topics relevant to educational, behavioral and developmental issues may also be required.

This is a Civil Service position with the State of California with full benefits and continuing education fiscal support. Salary: $7,839 to $14,052 per month dependent upon experience and training. Position will remain open until filled.
