Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and the direct supervision of the Associate Medical Director, incumbent is responsible for providing direct medical services. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) Degree. 2. Completed approved residency program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics (Board Certified) 3. Florida licensed. 4. CPR required 5. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1. Provides direct health care to general patient population, routine, acute, chronic and Emergency care on-call. 2. Serves as Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Pediatric consultant to other providers. 3. Supervises ARNP’s and PA’s as appropriate. 4. Provides patient education. 5. Actively participates in and promotes quality assurance program. 6. Obtains hospital privileges in respective specialty. 7. Responsible for updating License and DEA renewals 8. Other duties as assigned.
