UCSF School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics Chief, Division of Pediatric Oncology The Department of Pediatrics at the UCSF School of Medicine is seeking a Chief of the Division of Pediatric Oncology. This individual will build upon our renowned oncology program with the goal of further expanding our global reputation as a leader in research, education and treatment of childhood malignancies. The successful candidate will be an internationally-recognized leader in the field of pediatric oncology and will have a track record of outstanding research accomplishments and extramural funding. Appointments will be made at the Associate or Professor rank in the Clinical X or In Residence series. The candidate must have the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines. Patients with oncologic disorders are currently seen at both UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals (Mission Bay and Oakland), as well as in a number of outreach sites. Research is conducted at all campuses. Both the Oakland and Mission Bay campuses run comprehensive hematology oncology fellowship programs that train basic, translational, and clinician scientists. The Division Chief will benefit from substantial institutional resources to expand our current strong interdisciplinary clinical, research, and education programs.
