West Virginia University Children’s Hospital is hiring a full time BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist. You will be joining a well-established group of 4 MDs, 3NPs, and 2 nurses at our main campus in Morgantown, WV. About the Job: Those interested in joining a dedicated team making an extraordinary difference in the lives of children not only within the state, but across the region are encouraged to apply. • Within clinic you may have access to a dietician and a psychologist • We participate in an active telemedicine program to best serve the entire state of WV • Each week you will have one full academic day and a half day of endoscopy • Endoscopy is preformed within the Children’s hospital with a strong team of pediatric anesthesiologists and CRNAs • WVU participates in ICN • The inpatient service is a consult-based service with an academic hospitalist team • Call is equally divided among all physicians and there is no clinic obligation during call weeks About WVU Medicine Children’s: Our newly opened 150 bed Children’s Hospital has a full suite of pediatric operating rooms, cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology, and GI-endoscopy with dedicated pediatric anesthesia staff. WVU Medicine Children’s is a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, with plans to become Level 1, as it is for adults currently. J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is the only hospital in West Virginia with a pediatric cardiac surgery program, the only epilepsy monitoring unit in the state equipped to serve children, and the only hospital in the state to receive Magnet status for nursing excellence.
