Peoria Tazewell Pathology Group is an independent pathology group of 17 pathologists and 3 pathology assistants in Central Illinois, providing professional anatomic and clinical pathology services for multiple hospitals in Peoria, the Quad Cities area and the surrounding communities. We are seeking applications from BC/BE anatomic and clinical pathologists with fellowship training (or demonstrated expertise) in dermatopathology to join our team in Peoria, IL. - This partnership track position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and a cooperative and collegial work environment. Duties will include rotations in general AP/CP (includes dermatopathology coverage), cytology, frozen sections, few autopsies and call coverage. In addition to service work, many of our members also hold academic appointments and serve as volunteer faculty in the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. - Peoria is located three to four hours from Chicago, St. Louis and Indianapolis and boasts outstanding amenities including minor league baseball and hockey teams, symphonies, art museums, bike trails, and large convention centers hosting major concerts and Broadway theater productions. Major area employers include Caterpillar, Inc. and health care sectors.
