Cedars-Sinai Health System, set in the heart of Los Angeles, has a newly redesigned program which is fully integrating into our multi-faceted academic and community environment. Our clinical team works closely with a diverse medical staff that includes full-time faculty, private community physicians, and Hospitalists in order to deliver highly personalized, patient-centric Palliative Care services for a full range of conditions. We are seeking a talented physician with Palliative Care experience who will serve as the Medical Director for our growing cardiac palliative care program. Cedars-Sinai is the largest heart transplant center in the world and also the largest cardiac device placement service in the country. The ideal candidate is clinically outstanding; possesses excellent communication skills; demonstrates high levels of caring and empathy; and is interested in building a long-term career in a thriving Health System with a leadership team that prioritizes longevity, teamwork, community, and work/life balance. Academic appointment through Cedars-Sinai and UCLA is available to the qualified candidate. Qualifications must include: • Graduate of an accredited medical school • Fellowship training and/or Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine • Prior experience working in Palliative Care (preferred) • Experience or knowledge in caring for patients with advanced heart failure and patients with mechanical circulatory support • Experience (preferred) in the development and implementation of research protocols in Hospice, Palliative Care Medicine, advanced heart failure, and End of Life. • BC/BE in appropriate specialty/sub-specialty • Must qualify for medical staff membership at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center • Must hold a current license (or have applied) in the State of California If you are interested in learning more and/or applying, please send your curriculum vitae, at least three references, and a cover letter to: Dr. Bradley T.
