If your answer is YES, a physician opening at NJ Eye and Ear is perfect for you! We are currently looking for ophthalmologists specializing in Cornea and Pediatrics. What you will need: - A NJ license to practice Ophthalmology - A reasonable proximity to either our Clifton or Englewood locations. What you will do: - Gather important information regarding patient health history and current symptoms. - Maintain detailed records about said symptoms and diagnoses - Identify issues like muscular regeneration, glaucoma, cataracts or impaired vision and determining the appropriate treatment plan - Perform surgical procedures, perform pre and post-op examinations, as well as instructing patients on self-care during recovery. - Become familiar with our EMR system and all testing and diagnostic equipment so as to better provide guidance to technicians when needed. - Be empathetic and reassuring with patients - Be a good listener with great attention to detail.
