Job Description

Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Colorado are looking for a self-motivated and progressive physician to build a gynecologic oncology program as a part of expanding regional oncology services at UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. We are part of a multidisciplinary effort including surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and pathology. We are seeking an individual who will grow our areas of expertise in surgery and clinical trials for gynecologic cancers. The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment to the University of Colorado consistent with their credentials. The Gynecologic Oncology Division at the University of Colorado employs five full-time faculty members who will provide backup and logistic support for this CHMG employed position. Position Requirements and Essential Functions: Responsibilities include the organization and growth of a clinically oriented academic practice in gynecologic oncology with emphasis on state of the art care and clinical trials. Required credentials include: Completed ABOG approved Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Completed ABOG-approved Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology Candidates must have or be eligible for licensure by the State of Colorado and mustobtain privileges, including OR privileges at Memorial Hospital Colorado Springs as well as University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) and other hospitals as the practice needs require Robotic training and current certification Clinical research experience, as well as clinical trials, preferred Join the highly rated UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO.
