OB/GYN - near Savannah, GA Opportunity to join private group of 2 OB/GYNs. There is a shortage of 10 OBGYNs in the PSA/SSA. Office is located behind the hospital. It is large enough to support 3 physicians. Financial Package: competitive salary and fringe benefits (all supported by income guarantee from hospital). CME, Medical Licensure, Dues, and Subscriptions, Relocation Expenses, Commencement bonus, potential for signing bonus, medical education debt assistance and residency stipend. Option for partnership. This is a traditional OB/GYN setting with a mix of an office and hospital practice encompassing both OB and GYN. Call 1 in 3 (weekday practice call), Weekend call is 1 in 8 as all OBGYN physicians now share weekend call. There are total of 7 OBGYNs in the Service Area currently. 24 hours Anesthesia coverage Two rooms blocked for Tuesday and Thursdays for OB/GYN and one room blocked the other weekdays. There is also a c-section room in the OR. OR staff is trained to work in all specialties. OR time is scheduled by the clinic office staff during the specified block times. There is a 24 hour coverage for c-sections and emergencies. 1,600 births per year at the Medical Center It is a medium sized college town in southern GA near Savannah (45 minutes).
