OB - GYN Physician Physician owned OB-GYN group located in Anchorage Alaska seeks Board Eligible OB-Gyn physician to join us in a thriving growing practice. Alaska Womens Health, PC is a well-established OB GYN practice (Founded in 1983). AWH currently has seven physicians and three nurse midwives with a support staff of thirty-five. We offer full service obstetrics, gynecology, and urogynecology services. In 2011 we increased the efficiency of our office by completing our transition from paper charts to an electronic medical record system (Athena). To assist our providers with documentation we utilize scribes. Our clinic is in a newly remodeled, state of the art facility which includes 3D/4D ultrasounds; in office lab; large procedure rooms for onsite LEEP/Colposcopy, D&Cs, Cystoscopy, Endoscopy, and Ablations; and a triage area where NSTs and BPPs are performed daily. Our providers perform surgeries, deliveries (around 1000 per year), and other hospital services at Providence Alaska Medical Center and Alaska Regional Hospital. We are also closely affiliated with an Ambulatory Surgery Center just down the street from the PAMC campus. Our office is conveniently located on the Providence Alaska Medical Center campus where 90% of our deliveries occur. PAMC will be opening a new state of the art OB facility within the next year and has the only Level 3 NICU in the state. The successful physician candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefit package including production incentive compensation, CME dollars, help with moving expenses, and 7 weeks vacation per year.
