Job Description
The University of Missouri Department of Neurology is recruiting for the following Faculty Positions: Neuroimmunologist (Multiple Sclerosis). Expertise in the specific area is required as well as Board Certification / Board Eligibility in Neurology. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary and Benefits are very competitive. Willing to sponsor J-1 for qualified candidates (J1). The Department of Neurology has more than 20 faculty in adult neurology. In addition to General Neurology, subspecialties cover Neuromuscular, Sleep Medicine, Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Neuro-ICU. The Neurosciences Center, with more than 25 physician specialists, features the largest medical and surgical neurology care team in mid-Missouri. The neurology care provided by our Department is recognized as a “high-performing specialty area” by U.S. News and World Report for 2015. In addition to clinical opportunities for the candidate, a wide range of academic opportunities are offered by the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science at MU. At MU's comprehensive academic medical center, scientists join clinicians in producing lifesaving discoveries and delivering them to patients through a far-reaching network of hospitals, clinics, and telehealth sites.
