Job Description

Sierra Neurosurgery Group, located in Reno, Nevada, is currently recruiting for a full-time board certified/board eligible general Neurosurgeon. The desirable candidate needs to have enthusiastic and hardworking attitude to succeeding in a multidisciplinary group practice that services much of Northern Nevada and Northern California. That candidate must be eligible for a Nevada medical license and unrestricted federal-issued DEA.

The group consisting of nine (9) neurosurgeons and a pain specialist and is the largest private practice neurosurgery group west of Phoenix. Caseload is heavily spine-based with ample access to intracranial work. Call is 4-5 days per month. Four hospitals are serviced with one being a Level II trauma center. Reimbursement is excellent with great benefits and partnership track.

There are over half a dozen satellite offices. Reno, Nevada, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, just 8 miles from the California border and only 4 hours drive to the San Francisco Bay Area. Twenty ski resorts surround the city and majestic Lake Tahoe is only 30 minutes away. The area is known for its wealth of outdoor activities. Reno has excellent schools and low crime.
