Job Description
Qualifications • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; vocational training may substitute • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program approved by the American Association for Medical Assistants or similar program • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and math measurements • Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office applications • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Responsibilities • Provide administrative support such as patient check-in/out, scheduling appointments, and answering calls • Assist with clinical tasks including preparing treatment rooms, conducting patient intake, and performing quality controls for Point of Care testing • Support departmental needs by maintaining medical records, cleaning patient care rooms, and managing inventory of supplies • Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and adherence to organizational guidelines • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness of safety needs in all interactions with patients and families Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience • Sign-on bonus of $1,500 for Medical Assistants with 1+ year of experience
