Physician Reviewer– Remote Independent Consultant NEW YORK: INFECTIOUS DISEASE* *Must be State Licensed, Board Certified Healthcare Quality Strategies, Inc. (HQSI) is a URAC accredited Independent Review Organization (IRO) and Medical Review Services organization. We are seeking board-certified, active practicing physicians to perform remote peer review for our private, commercial and government contracts. Most reviews are retrospective, specialty matched, medical necessity reviews. Areas of focus include but are not limited to: patient status (Inpt vs. Outpt), readmissions; continued stay, diagnostic services, evaluation and management; etc. ANY STATE LICENSURE: Multiple Specialties* *Must be State Licensed, Board Certified Colorectal Surgery Endodontics Hematology Infectious Disease Licensed Clinical Social Worker Nephrology Orthopedic Surgeon (specializing in surgery of the spine) Pediatric Surgery Rheumatology QUALIFICATIONS: Be a graduate of an accredited school Hold an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States Have a minimum of five (5) years of independent practice and experience in the applicable board-certified clinical specialty with recent clinical experience within the past three (3) years Have no history of disciplinary actions For immediate consideration, please submit resume and cover letter to: careers@hqsi.org
