BC/BE Hospitalist Physician Join Good Samaritan Hospitalist team with Apogee Hospitalist Group! Join an experienced Hospitalist team that works together to offer flexible scheduling for exceptional work-life balance in a welcoming community, physician-friendly state, and an outstanding Academic Community Hospital affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine. Good Samaritan, a 4-time Magnet Designated hospital, is a 156-bed regional referral center with over 30 specialty service lines including a Level 3 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center Practice Details: • 7 on/7 off or other flexible block scheduling options • Established Hospitalist team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers with optimal staffing levels conducive to excellent patient care – Average 13-16 patients • Multiple subspecialists available for consults and motivated to assist in caring for patients, including Pulm/CC, GI, Urology, Ortho, Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, ID, Neurology, Nephrology, Level III Trauma General Surgery • No procedures are required but are optional if desired • Basic Vent Management a plus but not required due to 24/7 PulmCC coverage • APPs cover busiest admission time to optimally manage hospital admissions • Hospitalist team can utilize computer rooms on each floor along with new lounge and offices on top floor of inpatient tower • Supportive, collaborative medical staff • Dedicated Physician Liaison to assist with establishing relationships with specialists for consults • Onsite ACGME accredited Indiana University School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency program Compensation and Benefits: • Base salary $348 with added compensation for incentive shifts and quarterly quality bonus • Benefits include health and retirement plans, and access to the complimentary services of a Financial Advocate who will look out for your best interest in financial planning • Employment provided through Apogee Physicians, the largest entirely physician owned and operated Hospitalist group in the nation Life in Vincennes, Indiana: Family-friendly, safe community offering a vibrant downtown with boutiques and local eateries, festivals, parks, hiking trails, golf, pickleball, museums, theater and entertainment.
